The All India State Bank Officers’ Federation (AISBOF), representing officers of the State Bank of India (SBI) nationwide, announces the election of Rupam Roy as its new General Secretary. The decision was unanimously made during the 6th Executive Committee Meeting held in Chandigarh on 26th and 27th November 2024. Com. Roy will assume office on 1st December 2024.
Com. Rupam Roy, previously the President of AISBOF, and current General Secretary of AIBOC (All India Bank Officers’ Confederation) is known for his remarkable negotiating skills and commitment to officers’ welfare. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the unity and resolve of AISBOF in addressing the evolving needs of its members.
The meeting also saw the election of Com. Arun Kumar Bishoyi, General Secretary of SBIOA Bhubaneswar Circle, as the new President of AISBOF.
Outgoing General Secretary, Com. Deepak K. Sharma, retires on 30 November 2024 after an illustrious career spanning 39 years. He expressed full confidence in the new leadership and its ability to propel the Federation to greater heights.
