Eco-Club of Khalsa College of Law, Amritsar organized a Nature Camp at Harike Pattan, Wetland on 2nd Feb, 2025. This Camp was organized under the auspices of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi and State Nodal Agency Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh under Environment Education Programme 2024-2025, under the Guidance of Director-cum-Principal Prof. (Dr) Jaspal Singh a group of
Faculty members Dr. Gunisha Saluja, Dr. Purnima Khanna, Dr. Pawandeep Kaur (Eco Club Incharge) Prof. Utkarsh Seth, Prof. Jasdeep Singh and 45 students of B.A.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B and LL.B (TYC) of Khalsa College of Law, Amritsar visited the Wetland, Interpretation Centre, Wildlife Sanctuary, situated at Harike Pattan, District Ferozepur. Students also participated in Postermaking Competition highlighting the need to protect the environment and biodiversity. Students were also enlightened by various experts regarding the issues and significance of Protection of Wetlands as well various species of birds and acquatic organisms at such Wetlands.
